"Future", the ending song of the Milestone Celebration movie "Mebius and the Ultra Brothers", which is sung by Mirai Hibino/Ultraman Mebius' actor!.

It's the perfect fusion of old and new, sure to make any long time Ultra fan (or fans of Showa era Toku shows) Squee with nostalgia. Fuyuki Toru makes a retroriffic return, and with the Younger and Hipper Project DMM helming lead, with a manly choir on backing with a sound straight out of Return of Ultraman.

There is also "Radiance", Ultraman Hikari's theme.

The opening song seriously deserves some listening to.

From the same movie, Maki's theme serves as another great heroic leitmotif for the protagonist.From the prequel movie Ultraman: The Next there's Ultraman's main theme composed and performed by the renowned Japanese guitarist, Tak Matsumoto, which is actually a remix of the original Ultraman theme.The Night Raiders "Attack" and "Battle" theme are both very action-packed and gets you going.Encounter and Arc Gate Theme also provide good examples.There's Heroic, the music that's usually played whenever Nexus goes head to toe against his foes.Kenji Kawai ( yes, the same Kenji Kawai who composed the music for the Ghost in the Shell anime among other things) composed the rest of the OST for Nexus and it's not short of amazing:.The first two, "Itsumo Kokoro ni Taiyo o" and "Tobitatenai Watashi ni Anata ga Tsubasa o Kureta" are good, although "Akaku Atsui Kodou" tops them. This show also has three ending themes worth talking about.

The rest of the OST to Ultraman Gaia though, was composed by Toshihiko Sahashi whom you may know as the composer to quite a bunch of the Hesei-era Kamen Rider series: From Masayuki Tanaka (the guy who did the opening of Kamen Rider Kuuga) and Kazuya Daimon comes the theme song to Ultraman Gaia.The show's first ending theme, "Kimi Dake o Mamoritai" by Takeshi Tsuruno, which can only be described as one word: EPIC! Which makes the fact that he was able to raise the epicness Up to Eleven with the version used in the 2012 film Ultraman Saga a complete (albeit pleasant) Mind Screw.The opening song composed and performed by Tatsuya Maeda.Say what you will about the English dub, but the theme song is pretty good.The Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Dyna: Warriors of the Star of Light also saw return of one familiar chorus for the GUTS team."Inheritor of Light", one of Tiga's battle themes that rivals the fanfare of the original Ultraman's Victory theme.The opening song, "Take Me Higher" performed by the Japanese band V6 is also very infectious.The Japanese opening to Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero is a thing of beauty."Our Great", the Japanese opening, is a real treat.The instrumental opening, while a bit generic, and originally found in Ultraman USA, is still quite awesome.One of the more laid-back ending themes in the history of the franchise, and arguably a perfect fit for the series idealistic message.
